Charles Street is the only gay bar that's part of a chain in Brighton. It's big, brash, loud and right opposite the seafront and literally across the road from Brighton Pier. It was amazing when it first opened and about 10 years on it's still quite a nice space. It's more gay friendly than full on gay and has it's own club. The bar also serves typical cheap and cheerful chain bar food. They have a small but pretty nice outside area at the side of the bar. Another great bar that's good as part of a crawl.
