The Camelford Arms is the main bear bar in Brighton, you'll find it halfway down Camelford Street behind Legends. It's obviously aimed at the older bear crowd but it doesn't feel as though it's pushing it too much. Even the gay part isn't hard sell, preferring to call themselves a community pub. It's just happens that a lot of the community are gay. Most men would feel comfortable in what is a very traditional style pub. Not sure about women as it can feel a bit intimidating when it's packed full of guys two or three times your size but it's what's expected in this sort of bar. It manages to be a bear bar but it never feels dirty or sleazy like a lot of these type of bars, quite a feat.
